Just as the title says….

We went shopping today, picking up groceries, and I figured it wasn’t too bad, but by the time I got home my knee had swelled. So I spent most of the day with a bag of frozen peas on it. 20 minutes on.. 20 minutes off.. 20 minutes on… sigh.

So Since I had so much time to kill, I had hubby pull out my laptop and spent the afternoon, updating the Operating system, pulling and looking at old mail.. and pulling from my old recipe cache.
Thus the four new recipes I posted.
I hope everyone enjoys them.

With any luck, Tomorrow I should be fine

Thank God its Friday and Payday!

Weekend Plans:
This is a busy weekend for all – Finish the porch (Tearing down), set up the bricks for steps, Send some roosters to freezer camp, give away four hens to a friend, do the weekly shopping.

Oh and my scrufaluficus gets a haircut as well! And boy she needs it! She’s hairier then chewbacca !

I plan on making enchiladas today (well, Polenta instead of tortilla based enchiladas) for dinner. the Polenta is set, the chicken is pre-cooked, all I need is the extras!

We’re grabbing a case of tomatoes at the Market again and we’ll see what else looks good.

Watched Knocked up last night and I have to say, I was disappointed. I was really looking forward to some uncontrollable laughter, and I think I laughed twice in the movie. /shrug. It wasn’t horrible.. it just wasn’t good. I gave it two stars (out of five).

Artistic expressions:
We made great leaps and bounds playtesting yesterday. Seriously I could not have gotten this far without Mia and Carol! They are awesome! Carol has been playtesting with me all week long, over and over again and I really really really appreciate it.
We are so close to being able to copyright this game. I”m very excited.

Hello all,

I have set my writing aside for a bit. It was starting to give me a headache each time I looked at it. LOL
I also thought it best to do that until I can get back on my thyroid medicine.

So until then I’ve been working on my gaming mechanics and they are coming along fantasically. I really plan on getting this system copyrighted, and even possibly marketing it. In this economy, any one time cost -game or entertainment should really be embraced.
Its a generic system that can easily be modified for any world or design.
