Keto Waffles

 

so… its Waffle day…

Not the waffling as in unable to make a decision, but yummy scrumptious breakfast food waffles

The original recipe came from “Everyday Ketogenic Kitchen” which is a really good cookbook so far.

The whole batch comes to 52 total carbs and equals 2-3 carbs per waffle.

2 8-ounce packages of creamy creamy cream cheese
6 eggs
1/2 cup of heavy whipping cream
1/4 cup of Maple Water
1 stick of unsalted butter
1 1/2 cup GreenWise Whey Protein powder
1/2 tsp of baking soda
2 tsp of apple cider vinegar

1. Preheat waffle iron and grease
2. Melt butter and warm cream cheese and mix in food processor.
3. add vinegar into the butter and cream cheese mixture
4. blend til smooth.
5. Combine eggs cream and water in a separate bowl. mix and then add to cheese mixture when the butter/cheese is cool enough not to cook the eggs
6. Add protein powder and baking soda
7 Blend til smooth again

A little less than 1/4 cup of batter for the deep waffle iron.
cook for about 3 minutes (A little less if smaller waffles)
Dont cook too long or they will get eggy.
